President
Tom Butts
Mr. Butts joined IBM after graduating from Texas A&M University in 1988.
Mr. Butts was hired by AT&T in 1993 and was AT&T Labs Executive Director where he had responsibility for all AT&T VPN and Remote Access Development.
Mr. Butts left AT&T in 2006 to start Accelerated Concepts, Inc., a company specializing in enterprise cellular data. Mr. Butts has responsibility for all Accelecon Technology and overall direction.
Mr. Butts joined the Florida Adlerian Society board in 2005 before becoming President in 2010.
Mr. Butts, originally from Houston, Texas, has lived in Tampa for more than twenty years with his wife and 2 daughters.
Vice-President
Geri Carter
Geri Carter is a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Florida Certified Sex Therapist, and a Family Mediator (Design Your Own Divorce), and has 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Her focus is on improving relationships between people, and within the individual.
She has written the book, Parenting Today’s Teenager, written several magazine articles, and has had guest appearances on Fox Television, Tampa, as well as been heard on talk radio WMNF FM, Love Stinks, and the Hangover Show, CBS 1010 AM. She teaches at various psychology conferences in the United States and abroad.
She is married to Dr. Timothy Evans, has two children, Nicholas Carter, 23 years of age who is soon to be a graduate of Florida Atlantic University and Kelly Carter, 18 years of age, studying dance and heading to college in the Fall of 2011.
She has been on the Board of Directors for the Florida Adlerian Society since September, 2001.
Executive Director
Tim Evans
Tim Evans received his doctorate from the University of Georgia, and is an approved supervisor for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He completed an American Psychological Association internship at the University of Delaware. He has worked in community corrections and in a narcotics treatment program; developed a family therapy program for an adolescent psychiatric unit; and has extensive training in marriage and family therapy.
Dr. Evans was a college professor for over 20 years. He developed the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at USF. He has taught courses and lectured internationally. He has taught for the Adlerian Institute in Riga, Latvia. Geri and Tim have also taught encouragement and parent education to teachers and parents in St. Martin. Dr. Evans is currently teaching graduate counseling courses for Webster University.
As a college student, he received training and later was a group trainer with Dr. Carl Rogers and the Center for the Study of the Person. Dr. Evans is the Executive Director of the Florida Adlerian Society. Most recently, with his wife, he has conducted conferences featuring, William Glasser, Robert Whitaker, Peter Breggin (February 2012) and Rudy Ruettiger (movie Rudy).
He has been practicing therapy for the past 30 years. Dr. Evans conducts individual, couples, groups, and family therapy. He and his wife conduct monthly, Open Forum Family Counseling Demonstrations at the Family Education Center, in St. Petersburg Florida.
Tim is married to Geri Carter and has two children, Tommy 20 years old, who attends the University of Central Florida, and Katie is 18 years old, and attends Centennial High School.

Alexandra Galletti
Alexandra Galletti is a bi-lingual marriage and family intern and a college psychology professor with 5 years of experience in teaching Psychology.
She is presently a faculty member of the Metropolitan University in Tampa, Florida. She also teaches online courses at the Turabo University, both universities are well-known and accredited by the Middle States Association.
She also has 3 years of experience working with veterans who have Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Alexandra presently works with veterans at the James Haley Tampa Veterans Hospital.

Randall Gainforth
Randall Gainforth, LMHC is a counselor in private practice in Temple Terrace, Florida working with couples, individuals and families. Randall gained the majority of his clinical experience in his work with families for the Hillsborough County Department of Children Services for over 30 years.
He worked in both residential and out patient venues as well as Beach Place, the first runaway center in the southeast United States, Nature's Classroom, the Truancy Center, Dorothy Thomas Special Education Center, Child & Family Counseling Center, and as a family consultant for several area Middle and High School, and the Health & Social Service Center in Palm River.
Randall has been married to Diane for nearly 30 years and they are the proud parents of a teenage daughter, Emily.
Randall has been on the Florida Adlerian Society board since 1994. He has also served as a representative and Board Member of the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology.
